The Way Back - "Cafe of Memories & the Roadway Gallery"
Here comes a little conversational story between a young guy and girl who overcomes their life with some obstacles.
A long conversation with a stranger after a tragedy gives a relief, internal peace and gives a hope for new future.
The way back
On 31st December,2019
A young women Laya was on her way to “CafĂ© of Memories” to recollect her memories with a guy.
Laya: (Entering the café with flashing memories in front of her)
Previous year the same day…..I and my life Raghu visited our school to see the way we walk , the way we used to play, fight, laugh,,.etc. It showed our childhood. To make this day special and to celebrate the New Year - 2019, Raghu decided to visit “CafĂ© of Memories” we ordered our favorite Cappuccino and shared few words until the last sip.

After some time the waiter (Yogi) came with the camera to take snaps.
He gave one copy to Raghu, another to Laya and kept a copy with him to hang it on Memories wall. Raghu also insisted the waiter to store the cups near their photos hanging on the memories wall.
Also the “CafĂ© of Memories” had a practice of saving the cups used by their customer with their signature.
Almost the last moments we had. Yes it was the last pic of the year 2018, last conversation, last sip with happiness and at last we paid our bills and left the “CafĂ© of Memories” with lots of our memories and I don’t know it was our last day.
On half the way
Laya (Drowning with flashing tragedy). It was an accident both had where she had lost her Raghu, fortunately she got minor injuries and got saved.
After that the world of Laya grew dark and soulless.
Laya: (mind) though I have done many distracting activities to get out. Still the pain is same Raghu.
Miss you!
After few months….
Laya: “Wow this boy had done a marvelous painting” and the boy name is Martin.
Laya: I think I’ve got some idea!!! Thus created the “the Roadway Gallery”

Laya entering the café (the pleasant music were playing inside the café) it seems like yesterday but one year has passed
She smiled at Yogi (the waiter)
Yogi: (mind) who is this? I can’t recognize her… Laya came near him and showed the pic which they took a year ago. Oh I got to remember her. Let me bring the same two cups of Cappuccino.
He kept those cups on the same table.
“Between a year there were lots of pics with memories hanged on the memories wall”
Alex (watching this all) in mind: What’s happening there and What happened to that madam? (in a confused manner)
Alex came near her, “Are you waiting for someone?” Alex asked
Laya: Yes… but he is no more…
Alex: oh I’m sorry
Laya smiled
Alex: would you like to share some thing with this cup of coffee until the last sip,if you’re okay…?
Laya looking at Alex and shared some words (Raghu and her “the Roadway Gallery”) with the sip of coffee…
In return Alex shared some words on the journey of “CafĂ© of Memories”
Again the Cafe of Memories made a new friendship and the memories wall holds the new memories (First pic of 2020 at Cafe of Memories - Laya and Alex) on 01/01/2020 and service of memories continues…
